Q.
Can anyone tell me, How can people live with a heavy conscious bearing down on their lives??? People like Arjun Singh?? Who thought nothing of leaving the main accused Anderson, while 20000 or more lay dead in front of him????

In India politicians are absolutely thick skinned and the high powered AC's in their houses do not allow the heat of suffering of ordinary citizens to even touch them.Their homes are also sound proof , so that the cries of the sufferers do not reach them.And when they move out of their house in AC cars, they are taken from such roads that they do not see anything objectionable.The whiff of money puts such a cushion that they are unable to see, hear or feel anything bad about anything and even the voice of their conscience is shut down.To sell one's conscience is a rare feat , which can never be achieved by people like you and me!
