I dont. Because if you run the chances are they will run behind you and bite you, but if you dont run they will just bark, even sniff you and then lose interest. It is the fear that makes people run

They are psychologically scared of dogs. When a dog starts chasing them, nothing occurs in their mind and they just start running, to escape from its bite. Nice question.
