A. They say that using a bike allows them to get much farther, in the same amount of time, than they can by walking. They also maintain constant pressure on land managers, to open more and more trails to bikes. Of course, all of these trails are already open to them, if they choose to walk. U wud be surprised by what am going to say.
There is something spiritual about it. Man is normally in a state of half sleep, lethargy and sunk in mediocre worldly life. All spiritual rituals and practices are aimed to wake us up, take us to a more alert and aware living.... or take us to a higher level of consciousness ! There is NOTHING more blissful on this earth than rising higher in conscousness. Danger or adventure is a natural situation where ur alertness rises automatically. There u cant afford to sleep, for it may cost u ur life ! zen people use this principle while engaging in martial arts.
So u see, adventure can take u to God too !
