Dakshya Prajapati's daughter SATI married to Lord Siva against his wish and Lord siva was always in the buriel grounds and was roaming with the animal, snakes ETC, when Sati requested Lord Siva to have a glimps of the Yagjnya (though both were not invited ), performed by her father. she found all the GODs apart from her husband ...... that's why Dakshya Parjapati didn't invite him for the Jagyan....... and he was full of EGO ........

To the blue-necked Lord, embodied as the letter Si, the destroyer of Dakshas sacrifice and the resplendent Sun of Gauris lotus-face, whose banner bears the emblem of a bull, may our salutations be.
