Q.

Left Parties are arranging a strike programme in the industries like banks, insurance and other sectors to show their strength against the Govt. by striking work by their employees on 20-08-2008. Do you think that it is right on the part of the leftists to give a call of strike? Other Unions and Officers organsations are not participating in the strike programme.

The other option is to call all people to rally on Chattisgarh forest. At least the Indian Left is still keeping civil. And by the way- the Defense corps agreed to support the Leftist called strike (The Hindu, today's paper).

They are striking not because of the need to show strength- the way to do that is by bribing ppl into voting for them in election time...they are doing the strike to highlight the plight of the nation, so we don't one day wake up and find ourselves in a similar plight like Zimbabwe.

They are doing according to their political agenda which is based on strike, violence, terror but since 6th pay commission recommendations have been accepted by central and few state govts, it will not be successful except in WB, Kerla and Tripura.
