Selfrestraint and absitnence. not absenteesim ( not being present). kalidasa in raghvamsa writes about the ikswaku kings. they married to beget worthy progeny, he writes. hence one\'s sankalpa as to why one gets married is noteworthy.is it to aim to get good progeny to carry on ur family line ( continuing ur value system) or to gratify ur sexual needs and begeting children as result of the sexual act? now pl. understand y certain people are against inter-caste marriages.

Where is the need for that? Only people like gandhi and certain relgious leaders who fear pleasure and joy in life, wud ask such a question ! All bodily functions are joyous and pleasurable...eating, drinking, excreating, copulating, breast feeding...thats the natures gift ! Gods gift !

It\'s unnatural to do it.
The whole Theory of existence is based on reproduction & constant evolution of a species.
As such restraint is not possible, however man being educated & so called civilized then most other animals can use methods to prevent birth through scientific means like Condoms, Pills etc.

Absenteism and withdrawals are two good ways of controlling it, and I practice both. I hat econdoms, but withdrawal has been helping me all these years.
