Why can't there be a left handed player in the game of hockey ... ???

They do not take in players only with a left hand. he has to have both hands and both put to use

.....it is because of the field hockey sticks which are designed for right-handed people only because combination of left- and right-handed sticks if allowed will be a serious safety issue and that is why rules forbid their use in the game.

The stick has to be caught with both hands, so whether a person is left handed or right handed , it does not really matter

* Left hand at the top & right hand at the bottom of the sticks.
*Right hand at the top & left hand at the bottom.
BOTH VARIANTS ARE POSSIBLE.
