Those were the days where in village has been given a city shape by then british people & made it capital. They built & developed the city in such a way that most of those building looks as if they were in their country. Not jus these even in other fields also they were developments & it was the time what Bengal thinks today, India thinks tomorrow Though there were many individual contribution, least is done by communist and their importance diminished after J.B left to B.B and increasing population & unable to implement & slums (more and more from B@ngla, & other cities) has turned 'City of Joy' to 'Dying City.' Though its well known for Cultural activities & heritage), cleanliness is forgotten
