Lotus and thorns?I dont pluck because i want the happiness to be shared by all!Just as a beautiful lotus grows in marsh, so also happiness cannot come without melancholy

Without looking at thorn you can be cautious about them, you may get pricked.
Happiness is experienced because melancholy prevailed before; if there is no darkness, significance of light will not be realized.
