Why are Indians in general proud about the history?
They dwell in the history, because they have the leaders who cannot do something good for the future,a nd always point to the past so called 'glorious'. Because the historic time is associated with our parents, grand & great grandparents, people do not question the authenticity of the things mentioned as 'glory of the past', and it majorly goes unchecked and unquestioned.
Such people easily grow more and more proud. That goes with the whole of India. Delhi, being the capital, might just be representing it.
