This gentle hair mask treatment helps to strengthen weak hair and weak roots. This treament works at the hair follicles to help your hair grow stronger. I suggest using this treatment once every 2-4 weeks for the best results with your weak hair and weak roots. If you suffer from extremely weak hair and weak roots, you can use this more frequently as well.

1.
Step 1

Use a strong blender or food processor to grind down the ginseng root into a fine grain, or powder like consistency. If you can find it in powder form, I suggest using that instead. If you don't have a food processor or blender, you can just chop it down into the smallest size you can. Measure out a tablespoon of the mixture, and place into a medium mixing bowl.
2.
Step 2

Pour the buttermilk over the ginseng root, then cover the mixture and place it into the fridge for an hour. ...more

There are several things you can do. The first is nutrition. Foods like nuts, beans, tofu, flaxseed, lentils, and potato skins all contain zinc, iron and biotin, which strengthen hair. If you don't care for these, a food based supplement would be fine. Nourish your hair. Oil and massage your hair once a week and follow with steam so the oil gets absorbed. Make sure your hair is never dry by applying conditioner regularly or applying egg and curd to your hair. Do yoga like Sarvangasana and Sirshasana which ensure circulation to your scalp. Purchase shampoos and conditioners that contain proteins, keratin or amino acids. Don't use shampoos that contain chemicals. They do more harm to hair roots than anything else. Rather use herbal shampoos like vatika or amla.

The average person loses 50 to 150 hairs daily. This refers to shedding. Women often experience more hair loss during their monthly periods or after child birth. Probably the biggest thing you can do is take a look at your diet. You need to be getting plenty of good quality protein. Even if you are on a diet, you can get protein from tuna fish, chicken, and eggs. It is also important to take a good multivitamin/mineral supplement. You can make a paste from raw egg and mashed avocado, apply to the damp scalp and let soak for 30 minutes and then rinse with cool water. Be sure that you do not use hot water as this will leave a mess of half cooked egg in your hair! This somewhat gross mixture will help nourish your scalp to help your hair grow stronger. Applying icey cold water to your scalp once a day will also stimulate hair growth as this is your body's way of trying to trap body heat.
