I love my wife and never let her down unless she is wrong but I support my mother because she is old (88).

That is a choice you have to take depending on 'what you have in you to get the balance right' and not step into it to make it a greater mess. The moment you have used the word 'support', rest assured nothing is going to go right. You need to just handle it right, and if you have in it to you, have the courage to tell the person who is wrong that 'she is wrong'. Otherwise, it would be a repetition of the beating of drums every day and you will be left to handle the music -:)))

If it is a challenge then it would be my MOTHER ........... I can be a husband of others if I want ,but can't take birth from my mother's womb again if i will try for thousand times...........

Its been a understanding long back that in any differences between his wife and mother .. let him support his mother coz his wife understands that its peace what we want in the end and mothers can never go wrong :))

When wife comes to mother's (husband's mother) house leaving her parents with whom she spend all her life, husband has to create an atmosphere mother to have the same love towards wife what she will have for her daughter. That feeling will not come overnight but it would be gradual for which there should be "give and take" atmosphere. To create this atmosphere, responsibility lies with the husband. When that happens, I shall be supporting both mother and wife.
