Narrated / Authority Of: Abu Hurairah
that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Whoever calls people to true guidance, will have a reward equal to that of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest. And whoever calls people to misguidance, will have a (burden of) sin equal to that of those who follow him, without that detracting from their sins in the slightest. (Sahih)

This is a Sahih (authentic) Hadith which indicates that it is prescribed for Muslims to revive and call people to the Sunnah and warn against the Bidahs (innovations in religion) and their evils. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, Whosoever introduces a good practice in Islam, there is for him its reward and the reward of those who act upon it after him without that detracting from their rewards in the slightest. And whosoever introduces an evil practice in Islam will bear its sin and the sins of those who will act upon it after him without that detracting from their rewards in the slightest. (Related by Muslim in his Sahih [Authentic Hadith Book])
