Q.

How Hindus could be termed as infidels -An infidel (literally "one without faith") is one who has no religious beliefs, or who doubts or rejects the central tenets of a particular religion - especially in reference to Christianity or Islam.- Why no fresh thoughts make these religions very closed ? Is this due to lack of sense of religious security ?

Sir,I do not agree with your opinion of Hindus or Hinduism, because I strongly believe if there is any religion which has the highest faith in humanism it is the Hindus and Hinduism in the past and in the present and in future also.Hindus and the Hinduism will not force their faith on the others and they only allow each one to follow his/her faith and they are the people who respect the good elements of other religions also and that is the reason India(Hindustan)became the ground for the birth of so many religions and belief system unlike any other country in the world. If atall if there is any true secular religion in the world it is Hinduism and if at all if there is any religion in the world it is Hinduism which is open to fresh thoughts and thinking to flow in to it, and allowing it change and adopt continuously. Coming to your second half of your question the other religions like Christianity and Islam have closed doors for change but still surviving because of their unique unity ...more

Not Only Hindus but all who doesnt believe the Faith of Islam or for the Christians people who dont believe in there faith are Infidel ..... now the thought is these two are religion founded By some wise man of old era so they had two categories those who were with them and rest of others who were not with them and had conflicts in many areas........ According to Islam there is one more category In which we all Hindu , Buddhist, Jains etc comes, as we are Idol worshiper which is called as "Shirk" while Infidel is "Kufra", ..... as Per Hinduism it is not founded by a single man its a thought process losted for centuries gave shape to current ideology , so we welcome all the school of thoughts , as to us thinking and contineous discussion in the quest of truth is the correct path to reach to ultimate truth .... you pick any prayer of Christianity you will find names of God , Jesus and Holy Spirit (Trinity) or at least Jesus in each prayer, you pick any Prayer of a Muslim Gentlemen and yo ...more

If we analyse from the root level ....... all religion teaches the same .......like "Jibe daya bhabo" ......... but the interpetetion by so calld GURUs, Mullahs, fathers have created the infidel in human being ...... few have presented in such a manner that changes the mind of group of people ..... this practice have been done by a group of people just to get the name and power ....... or we can say for the sake of money ...... in each and every religion there are no. of groups who believe in their own philosophy (which has been taught by their religion heads) ............ but not to the reality ......... this is happening only due to lack of knowledge on the religion .......

It is ignorance and a mistaken belief in the superiority of their respective religions that this term has come to the fore. in fact, the way islam is being preached today for terrorist activities is in itself a proof of their infidelness to allah & his true teachings which are totally opposite to those practiced by them .
