Bhagwat Geeta was not written by any person. It is serromans given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in Bettle of Krukshetra.Saga Ved Vays compiled it as seperate chapter in 'epic' Mahabharta - but he was not the writter.
Ramayana is 'epic' written by many - Rishi Valmiki wrote it in sanskrit and named it "Ramayana", Saint Tusi Dass the more popular one wrote in 'Avadhi' a dilect of Hindi and named it 'Ram charitra Manas'. Pandit Radhey Shyam the story teller wrote in Hindi and named it 'Ramayan' , Poet Kadam also wrote it in Telgu
