Whenever I am listening or reading the name Kalidash suddenly one story comes to my mind. Kalidash was one ignorant people. Once he wants to cut a branch of a tree, hence he goes to the top / narrow side of the branch and start cutting the branch towards down / root. And fell down the ground. Latter by the grace of Geodes Saraswati he became most famous writer and apart from all his creation SAKUNTALA is one of the famous story one.

KALIDAS saw some women washing clothes on the edge of the river bank. He observed that the stones which the women were pounding with clothes, were smooth and rounded, while the other stones were rough and ragged. This observation hit him like a thunderbolt, and it dawned upon him that if stones could be worn through and change their shape by being pounded upon by clothes, then why couldn't his thick brains change, by being pounded upon by knowledge!
