The case of RIzwan involved a topshot businessman. Also, the police acted like a bunch of mafiosos and not like PROTECTORS. The couple was legally married & the police was trying to coerce a separation here- most likely on instruction - and a hefty backsheesh- from AShok TOdi...

Goons & hooligans do this, not police. Or at least they're not supposed 2. It involved many, many variables. A topshot businessman. THe local police....coercion- carried out by the police. ETc., etc...

THe Rizwan case sort of gave the public the impression that we're living in a capitalist monarchy. Which is dangerous...which is why it received so much attention in the media.

Rizwanur case is not given importance on religious grounds. In this case the Police, who are supposed to restore law, actively participated to separate a legally married couple and gave threatenings to the couple, in a manner expected from hooligans.

Good point mitesh, Newspapers, channels pour sympathy into muslim victims, but equably ignore majority hindu persons' plight. Print media has to do it otherwise they lose out on lucrative government advertisements, which run their show.
