Sai Ram. In this world of duality, we can't have good without bad. So, if we get noble thoughts, some one somewhere will get evil thoughts. Do we indeed wish that? A thought to think over!

No bhadrah kratavo yantu viswatah( Rig Ved )

When noble thoughts come around you you radiate noble thoughts as well. And any one coming in your company is likely to be affected with that. You have an aura of satsang. The same happens in a visit to the temple described above. Most people around have similar thoughts of devotion and that helps an individual to become devotional.

The power of thoughts needs to be deeply understood. Thoughts are the most powerful element on this planet. USA thought of developing atomic weapons. We all know the result. What kind of company you or I keep affects what kind of thoughts will travel around us and what kind of thoughts we will allow to be attached to our receptors. A filter at the level of the thoughts itself is the best filter. And that is why the Rishi above prays for noble thoughts to come from all around. If the bad ones come then he will have to at least see and explore them before he finds out that they are bad. It may be too late by ...more

We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.

" AA NO BHADRAH: RETHAVO YANTHU VISHWATHAH:"-- meaning let noble thoughts come to us from everyside.RigvedaI-89-i
It is the motto of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Book University
We should welcome noble thoughts from every source of knowledge to know much better than what we are now.It is a great wish and to be followed by everyone to increase his knowledge. There should be no pride or prejudice in acquiring knowledge.Every source is to be taped.Knowledge seeking has no limitation.Be careful while going in search of knowledge--it be for Noble thoughts only.
It is not enough we gain knowledge, but we should share and spread that knowledge for the welfare of the society and humanity. That is equally important.
