Q.
To add a bit of humour to my philosophical interactions: M S DHONI , the Indian cricket captain, was conferred an Hon. Doctor of Letters at Leicester England after the disastrous 0-4 white wash Test series there.
1. Was it because of his contributions to English Cricket in their winning series?
2. Will Australia too honour him for their euphoric blank out of India in the recent Tests ?

Our loss is their gain. Naturally, they are happy. Dhoni should understand this more than others. Aussies may also 'honour' him the same way.

1.The reason seems pretty obvious n good enough to apply to their senses.Which makes me wonder whether Dhoni is cooking a delicious porridge out of those hon.doc of letters.
2.If Australia doesn't follow suit,I'm afraid Dhoni would start calling them names....'kanjooooooos' :))

Being no 1 in Cricket,do you not think this 0-4 whitewash require some sorts of extraordinary skill ??? English Cricket team learnt a lot from this no 1 team.So an Honarary Degree is conferred.Nothing wrong dear.
Australian Cricket Control Board may think to honor him. But not as Cricket team but a short lived entertainer like T20/50
