Sex = spirituality...any references in Hindu Dharma? Because i have heard that in Hindu dharma sex is only meant for reproduction !! (Kamasutra told its equal to the way to Moksha and is a part of life)

I appreciate the research done by Mr raja.Good.One thing we all should understand that LOVE is the main theme of our existance.We exist because we love our own self.Like that in a broader perspective sex =spirituality no doubt.But it all depends on yr conscious level.Sensual pleasures are like soap bubbles, sparkling, effervescent. The pleasures of intellect (also a sexwith mind)are calm, beautiful, sublime, ever enduring and climbing upward to the borders of the unseen world.
The body of a sensualist instead of spiritualist is the coffin of a dead soul.If sensuality were happiness, beasts were happier than men.There comes our 6th sense or spiritual sense.Sex is a symbol of Love.take it anyway Good or bad.As U sow so U reap.Like that what way u think U become like That.What is shivling we do puja every day.Its a cosmic link of male and female.If U take that as spiritual U R doing Puja or else it is vathsyayana's kama sutra.You never heard/know a man who was sensual in hi ...more

As per hinduism if we can cotrol 6 ripus( kam=sex,krodh=anger, loav=greediness,moho=affinity, maad=ego, matsarjya=jealousy);
then we do not hv to come back on this eart, which is full of pathos.....no rebirth!

I dont know exactly yar but what i think is sex is one of the beautiful gift given by the god for the married couple.
source of fun, enjoy, relaxation, and all.
ofcource its the only source of reproduction.

Yes, i believe in this......u achieve salvation or moksha through sex, as it is the emancipation of love......., and hence said to be an integral part of married life.......

It is the news that frustrated partners have probably been longing to hear -- regular sex is the secret to a happy life.

A team of international researchers has carried out a study and found that sex is better for one's happiness than money, the 'WebMD' reported.

"The evidence we see is that money brings some happiness, but not as much as what economists might think. We had to look to psychologists and realise that other things really matter.

"We found sex counts so strongly and positively in happiness equations," lead researcher David Blachflower of Dartmouth College said.

The researchers came to the conclusion after analysing data on the self-reported levels of sexual activity and happiness of 16,000 people.
