I think it is not at all an act on the part of Dr.Singh to be complemented. With this action he actually accepted the Chinese policy in all respect.

This is not standing firm at all. The Chinese just made a strongly worded request on an insignificant matter to both China and India. What is standing firm is dealing w/ daily Chinese PLA encroachments into our NE territories.

I would say we have guts when we face the PLA w/o crying to the USA on top of our lungs.

I beg to differ, as it is not that important a subject, he should have stood up firm when the issue of stappled visas, when land belonging to India was taken over by the chinese
