They should have been hanged till death! Actually our law and punishment mechanism is very lenient. This BSP MLA and 9 others will be out soon and start their life afresh. A life of corruption / hooliganism / murder / goondaism etc.

This must be in a lower court; He will appeal in higher court, ensure that the case is dragged on until his last breath. In the mean time, he will come out and enjoy his life; After his death, it hardly matters to him as to what sentence is pronounced on his dead body!
This is how they escape the long arm of the law and no lesson is learnt

Uncle, it is not possible to book those BSP goons -thanks to Mayawati- this good for nothing lady did nothing for poors of her state. The rape case by one BSP MLA is still fresh. . Why didnt Mayawati sack the culprit from her party? Why should Mayawati support the wrongdoers when she claims that she is a true leader of dalits and a staunch follower of Dr. Ambedkar? Why does she build these enormous statues with giant elephants at a huge cost to the exchequer? Why does she have herself garlanded with obscene sums of money while claiming to represent the poorest among the poor? Why does she flaunt her power and her handbag in such a transparently magnified way? The answer to these seems to clear enough to a large section of society. Power has gone to her head and converted her into a raving megalomaniac and has robbed her of a sense of reality.
