Q.
Wouldn't it be great to pick Lalchand Rajput as coach of Indian side back along with Gary Kirsten? Sir Lalchand did a great job with team India. India won many matches. Also how about getting back Robin Singh & Venkatesh Prasad as Bowling & Fielding Coachs?.

Yes I endorse your view, but in matters of selection of a coach it is not mere doing of a great job, it also has certain palms to be greased and some persons to be kept happy, which I think Lalchand Rajput has failed.

Lalchand Rajput right now under a cloud of controversy. He was caught on camera laughing when Harbhajan Singh slapped S Sreesanth after a match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. The BCCI expressed it was shameful that Rajput was laughing on witnessing the incident. It is expected that BCCI will take strong action against Rajput. Under these circumstances how right would it be to appoint him as a coach of Indian side?
