Fida starring Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapur and Fardeen Khan, released in 2004 has similarities with the Hollywood movie Derailed released a year later. One can even say that the Hollywood movie has borrowed from a Bollywood movie in this regard. The Hollywood movie starred Clive Owen, Jennifer Aniston and Vincent Cassel. Both the desi version and the Hollywood movie were average hits.
