The game of cricket itself is 100% equated with men. Women, though they play the game now a days, cannot be cent per cent regarded, treated, or represented as equivalent to the game as men do. That's why the commentary is by men. Their baritone voices, somehow appear to lend a rich texture to the game! Shrill or husky feminine voice just does not get associated with the game of cricket!

The premise of your question is wrong. Many female commentators (Donna Symmonds, Mandira bedi, Anjum Chopra ) are coming into the field.

Anjum Chopra gives nice commentary.. As there are less women players, less number of commentators is natural.
