NOt really, MNIK, for the 1000000000th time sir (no disprespect intended)is NOT meant 4 an Indian audience, it is meant for an international one. It was composed about the plight of Muslims esp Indian Muslims and SIKHS in the US after 9/11. And in a non political way, ala thru a love story, it got the point across to the US AUDIENCE....

And in that, it DID have an impact.....even HOllywood critics praised it in dat regard in terms of saying how resident US Muslims got caught innocently after 9/11 and also ended in a glimmer of good ol' hope.

It doesn't apply to an Indian audience, but dudes / gals mayb some lurking rite here in qna would know about it first hand when his best Sikh friend comes pretty shattered in HOuston after 9/11. APparently some elderly ladies refused to board flight seeing as to how some guy had Turban and hejust got scuffled by US marshalls in land, strip searched, his turban torn and thrown, and then eventually hustled back and insulted...

That was a Si ...more
