Acc. to a story, a Chinese emperor liked to drink water after boiling so, once when the water was boiling a tea leaf fell into it. He liked the taste so much that he decided to keep it a secret. And acc. to an article that I read few days back they kept this secret for more than 3000yrs, I guess.
