It is advisable to do the basics first. These can be done from class 10 books.Candidates are advised to prepare for the interview simultaneously and take care to develop their personality and confidence.

rs agrawal reasoning n reasoing of BSC,general awareness go thru last 12 issues of competition refresher/csr/BSC.
Regular prctice of math is very compulsory.
A person with avg. brain with 6hours of systematic study for 3 months is enough to get a PO post in any bank.
Only smart hardwork is the easiest route to success.

To prepare for the Bank entrance exam, there are a number of books and correspondence courses available. The objective type portion will have papers in reasoning, quantitive aptitude, general awareness and English.........
The descriptive type paper will have comprehension, analysis of situation and language ability. You can prepare from Quantitative Aptitude by Abhijit Guha and Objective Ques Bank (math) by R.K.Gupta and J.P Arya. For general awareness, if you read read the daily newspaper and watch news broadcasts, that should do. You could also use magazines such as CSR, Competition Master, Banking service Chronicle and Manorama Year book. .........!
