It finished off long back and its last editor was Pritish Nandi who tried to revive it by modifying it into a broadsheet. But it did not word. Illustrated Weekly was at its peek during the tenure of Khushwant Singh, its most celebrated and controversial editor. After Pritish Nandi took over from Khushwant Singh it started sliding down.

Yes. though not in print and circulation now, the old editions of this magazine are all "published" and not typed or hand written !
