The Union Public Service Commission conducts a Written Examination for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) for Central Police Forces (CPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The rules published by Ministry of Home Affairs in the Gazette of India will apply for sitting for these exams.
