For me everyday is same...today we r just commemorating...but we need to live everyday of our life with due respect to our country n its people/culture....

Republic day is far. Next month is Independence Day. Patriotism is not one day matter.

Most of us wake up and become bit patriotic just before Independence day and / or after seeing film like Border in AC Multiplex and/ or during such terrorist attack. Then we forget and relish the tea with our sweetheart in the garden chair , reading newspaper and tell a desh ka kuch nehi hoga Lets at least do our part of the job by being proactive.

One of my friends wrote this after the Mumbai attacks....so true....... I will, again, sleep peacefully in my bed tonight also.

I slept when Kanishka was blown up. I slept when hindus killed muslims, when muslims killed hindus regardless of age, gender or region. I slept when sikhs were gutted and killed. I slept when Kashmir burnt. I slept when a plane full of passengers and crew was taken to Kandahar. I slept when Biharis were targeted. And so will I sleep tonight when Mumbai once again burns. I am an Indian. I sleep.
