It mean's a child needs to be pacified when it cries, because we never really know's why a child cries, kids tend to have nightmare's too - where do they come from, do not hit a kid or neglect a kid as the kid will grow up to feel emotionally insecure and make a mess of his/her life down the line. The rule is NEVER LET A KID BE IDLE, NEVER HIT A KID BECAUSE OF YOUR IMPATIENCE, NEVER NEVER ABUSE A KID, A KID IS NOT YOUR POSESSION BUT YOU ARE A STEWARD TO IT .
