THERE WERE MANY WHO GOT THIS TITLE , BUT THE 1ST TO GET THIS TITLE WAS Maharaja Ranjit Singh (Punjabi: ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ), Sher-e-Punjab (The Lion of the Punjab) (November 13, 1780 in Gujranwala, Mughal Empire-June 20, 1839 in Lahore, Sikh Empire). He was the first Maharaja of the Sikh Empire.
AND EVEN LALA LAJPAT RAI HAD GOT THIS TITLE
THANK YOU
