Shrimant Rajkumari Bhagyashree Raje Patwardhan was born on Feb 23rd 1969 to the royal family of Patwardhans of Miraj in Maharashtra. Her father is the Raja of Sangli, H.H. Meherban Shrimant Raja Vijaysinhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan. He has two more girls, Madhuvanti and Purnima. She wed Himalay Dassani, her childhood friend and has become a part time actor after marriage. She has two children. Professional Life
Bhagyashree made her acting debut in a TV serial called Kachchi Dhoop directed by Amol Palekar and then acted in a Telugu film Maharatna Rana. In 1989 Bhagyashree came into the spotlight after the success of Maine Pyar Kiya.
