Not the negative voting but there must be one option available like "None of the Above". This option should be treated as a candidate and if this option gets max votes then that area must go under Presidents Rule. This option is requirement of the hour and it must be introduced ASAP.

Negative voting is the worst thing that one can think of in a democracy. It is as good as not voting at all. If we feel that deeply about any of politicians not performing we as a whole (who are thinking of negative voting) should put up a candidate of our choice from our constituency as an independent candidate and vote that person to power. The foundation of democracy lies in the positive votes that gets cast at the time of election. Negative votes or not voting at all is like allowing termites to eat away the foundation of democracy. If we loose our democracy we will be no different from Pakistan or Bangladesh where anarchy rather than government rules.

Negative voting is not the solution of the problem giving pain. The best way is to make propaganda in favour of the Anti Defection Act & get it well executed, we have to care for the Charismatic persons' coming into politics to make politics systematic. So I would like to note " Think positive & get optimistic".

If there is no negative voting, there is no reason why i should go voting. Most of the politicians are not eligible to be there. If there is negative voting, there will be need for parties to post good and clean candidates.

Sooner this system gets implemented the better. But in India it takes ages. Atleast if we demand it our great gradchildren may atleast see some news about a proposaal in this regard.....though actual implementation can even happen when their grand children are born.
