If we were to look at the just concluded Femina Miss India Simran Kaur Mundi never even deserved the crown coz her answer to the final question was irrelevant to the query asked. I guess its her looks that outweighed her brain power.

In beauty contests , i think the judges select the right persons only. but their modus operadi is some what confusing. for all the contest, brain is needed if one has brain the contestants can be successful in achieving their ambition to become a beauty queen and hence the contestants have to answer the question put forward by the Judges in a manner in which the judges should be happy and the answer should be an intelligent and should be witty. but even now i cannot understand why the swim suit is needed to select the contestants. see, dear the beaut;y lies in the eyes of the beholder.

They may end up selecting the lucky one. But the type of rounds are bit too indecent to call for. Why swimwear and such rounds are required if beauty lies in the eye of the beholder???
