I'm getting lots of greetings on "Ram Navami" ! Actually, in Bengal, this festivel is not celebrated and I have no idea about this festivel ! Will you please throw some light on this festivel ?

The day marks the birthday of BHAGWAN RAMA in Ayodhya --a MONTH LONG FESTIVAL WAS ORGANISED BY THE KING DASHARATHA to mark the birth of his eldest son RAMA . It is also said that the birth day of Lord Rama,s dearest deciple ,HANUMAN falls on this day . Whole of India , barring Bengal and noth east , RAMNAVAMI observes this day with much devotion and gaity
