God is neither a giver nor a commander, for HE is OMNIPRESENT. He is everything and nothing is other than HIM. Therefore He being not separate from the Universe there is nothing to which He can give or command.

\"POORNAMIDAM POORNAMADAM......\" Ishawasyopanishad clearly brings out this logic that the Universe is not a part of Him but the whole of Him thus negating the two apparently perceived aspects -- the creator and the created. The so called individual ego depending on its level of knowledge / wsdom (pathra vishesha) assumes that one is independent or commanded.

While treading the path of salvation one travels through different levels viz., Bhakti generates in oneself a Dasa Bhava (servant) when God is perceived as Swami (Lord) and intense Bhakit generates karma (seva or service) which produces intense love and God is regarded as a lover (Priya) this brings one much closer to Him and sows the seed of Gnana and then one regards God as Sakha (friend) and above that the B ...more

Yes.God has given infinite freedom. The goal of our soul is freedom and freedom is the nature of soul.Higher being is the result of freedom;Pure is a freedom;Renunciation is a freedom;Morality is a freedom;Eternal is freedom;Freedom is there but one has to recover it.At the same time one has to bind the commndments of God to discover this freedom.Commandment of god are;to avoid impurity, bond of relationship and immorality etc.And this commandment will reach anybody by itself.

God gave us dreams -- each with its own secret, each sent to give us feelings of
inspiration, hope, and tranquility. God gave us the sunshine, the rainbows and the rain, the beauty and freedom of nature to teach us the wisdom of gentle acceptance. God gave us miracles in our hearts and lives, little things that happen
to remind us we\'re alive. God gave us the ability to face each new day with courage, wisdom, and a smile from knowing that whatever sorrow or pain we face,
He abides with us securely in our hearts. Most of all, God gave us friends to teach us about love and guide us through this world, always available to help us forward
towards a greater understanding and a greater sharing and giving of love.

Mr. Shunmugham, I would not like go for any of the options those you have mentioned, sorry, I beg your pardon.

I believe that,
1. GOD GAVE US A FREE WILL...
2. WE CAN WISH ANYTHING, BUT IT IS LIMITED TO OUR BODY\'S STRENGTH & POWER OF MIND...
3. COMMANDMENTS MAY BE LIMITED TO ANY RELIGION.....AND IT IS A VERY DEBATABLE TOPIC AS WHETHER GOD CREATED RELIGION.... or... HUMAN DID CREATE THE SAME FOR ITS BETTERMENT.......BUT, IT IS FOR SURE THAT, GOD NEVER BINDS US WITH ANY SO CALLED COMMANDEMNTS......commandments are limited to individual human mind to take up or not....God is serving for all, whether he is following or not following any commandments.....God bless !!
