Politicians are never believable . They change colour like snakes, they change party for the sake of Minister's berth or for getting creamy post of Chairman. They have no policy , no principles, no morals, noideas, no agenda and this id why they are in politics. As such it is not astonishing when Shiela Dixchit tell on pub girls contrary to what she is supposed to say about girls as per Indian culture. She is congress party member and she has to blame BJP for Managalore incident knowling very well BJP is no where associated with Ram Sena.

Prostitutes on streets and highways in Delhi was recntly in news. She wanted to legalise it. Yesterday water with cowdung was supplied in vasant kunj area. I think she should decide which is to be given priority. Drinking water or prostitution?

She might have issued a statement as a politician but not as a responsible parent! Politicians issue many statements to attract votes. They claim that they are for upgradation of education in Government schools/colleges and they are interested in common people. But how many of them are sending their children to Govt. Institutions?

You said it...What an irresponsible statement from a responsible person ! We can't expect anything good from these politicians who can do anything for few votes. Just by saying that "women are not safe at night" is not enuff. Being CM and a woman, she should have to look into the matter personally...But these politicians change their views according to situation. Principles, rules, ettiquetts have no meaning in their case...Somya's killer are still roaming free and our govt. don't hve guts to bring them behind the bars. N if common man enquired about the case to police or govt. then they get the same answer "Case is under investigation"
