When there are so much talents in film industry, why is it not possilble to produce world class movies by India even today?

Thats because of the audience. Some of the better Hindi movies, like Khamoshi, though critically acclaimed, were flops.Nobody wants to lose money, so they make stupid movies like KANK, Garam Masala, Krissh whic make a lot of money , but the quality is nowhere near the world best.
