In addition to the 28,200 MW of power projects that Reliance Power is currently developing, the company intends to develop additional power projects to help meet the India's demand for power. Reliance Power is considering the development of Coal-Bed Methane (CBM) power generation projects based on fuel from CBM blocks being explored by a consortium that includes their affiliates. They also intend to invest in overseas opportunities that are a strategic fit with their business. The company intends to explore the possibility of registering some of their projects with the Clean Development Mechanism executive board for the issuance of carbon emission reduction certificates that they may sell.
In an interview, Mr. Anil Ambani, chairman of Reliance ADAG told CNBC-TV18 that the first project will go on stream in 2009 and cash flows will start after that. If you don't know about the projects of RPower then don't give such statrement at present RPL has more that 24,000 MW capacity and again they requested with central Govt about the total requiremnts of india so that they can develop more and more projects. I think that is why they got loan from wB
It is a good time to buy otherwise it will go above 800 within 3 months. Now R Power got loan from WB. see below report
