Well, would you accept existance of God if an atheist turned believer presented you with well considered and analysed thoughts about His existance. I dont think so. Faith comes only through personal understanding and experience and not through logic.
Former Darwinian atheist philosopher Antony Flew has published a book, There Is a God: How the World's Most Notorious Atheist Changed His Mind, to explain his move from being one of the worlds leading exponents of the pure materialist Darwinian philosophy to belief in the existence of a personal deity who created the universe.
Flew has emphasized that his discovery of a god who created life was a result of relentlessly following the evidence. It was empirical evidence, he told an interviewer, the evidence uncovered by the sciences. But it was a philosophical inference drawn from the evidence.

Atheists are over rational and often negative.
I will better live with my age old God.

Concept of God is a belief.
Beliefs cannot be discounted with well considered and analysed thoughts.
If this were so, there would no need for any belief in elevated spiritual minds.
It is all a toss up between our inner spiritual beliefs and harsh rationalism,that may influence our thoughts.
