Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua predicted this exact result. Why did he not pull it off earlier? Was it necessary to go for Catalan III? But you should agree that Topolov was crafty although not as resourceful. Right from 5th game, I was thinking that Topolav's hand is forced to make King pawn opening and Anand would simply ready the noose by resorting to Sicilian. That was not to be. I am thrilled. Thank God! Thanks...

The only sportsperson of India who earned pride for himself and the country single-handed in the most absorbing game of Intellectuals which are played Gary Kasparov, Bobby Fischer and Boris Spasky or a victor Korchnoi or Anatoly Karpove play. V.Anand won without our wishes and will continue win without our wishes. We can pay our respect only. Rather we should not forget his support team. They did wonderful work to give assistance to Anand, But it was ingenuity of Anand which earned him the championship for the fourth time in his career.
