Dear Joyesh, certain people tend to be thin skinned and may react irrationally on certain topics more so if concerned with a community's customs & traditions & rituals. It is sad to see people becoming increasingly intolerant and insensitive to such issues. Your question shouldn't have ruffled anyone's feathers. The reason why the question may have not ave been looked upon favourably is because of a subtle reference to the word 'Muslim' bride rather than 'What are the symbolic significance of ornaments worn by newly married brides in India(which would directly allude to all the brides of different communities). But, it was your personal choice. Relax & take it lightly.

i dont see anything wrong in the query. However people come with different thoughts and ideas and some are indeed touchy in matters of the faith. Tolerance is the key which we all seem to miss. As for the answer well Doctor Know has done ample justice to the same.

I know you are an innocent friend. But as your question is seemed as very sensitive one which may be misunderstood and hurt the feelings of the concerned religious members. Pls dont make it as a serioius issue. Just forget and ignore it.
