A Raja. He has made it possible even for the common man to own a mobile connection. In this age of information technology having mobile and broad band connection is a necessity and not a luxury, Raja's policy of allotting 2G spectrum at a very low rate has enabled service provider to pass on the benefit to the common man. If he had taken kickbacks (as people who do not do any work without kickbacks allege) would not the service provider passed on the additional cost involved in getting license allotted to the public by increasing rates for telephone calls so high that only the rich could afford. Raja is one great leader who has worked for the benefit of the Aam Janatha. In the processes like all great men he has suffered and even had to go to Jail for his struggle to serve the poor. More over it is pointless giving an award to a dead person or a old person who is not likely to live for long.
