Jones Lang LaSalle, the biggest global real estate services is contemplating investing around 1 billlion US dollars in the burgeoning real estate industry in India. Merrill Lynch has purchased 49 percent equity in 7 of the middle income residential projects of DLF, an Indian real estate company in south India and Indore. Dubai based DAMAC properties and Gulf Finance House are also thinking of spending billions of dollars in real estate properties in India.
