Bishen Singh Bedi has never been a sportsmen (in the figurative sense of the word) ever. Even during the heydays of our spinners, he wasn't all that cosy with the other greats - Prasanna, Chandrasekhar and Venkataraghavan.

I think he has forgotten his days when India was touring Pakistan, when he is to be swatted away like a fly to the boundary or over it as if they were playing with tennis or some soft ball. Those were the days, when test cricket was played more frequently and Indian pitches were so unabashedly tailored for spin bowlers only. The fact that, he could take only 266 wickets in 67 tests is not all that great an achievement compared to the later contempories of the game who had a much packed schedule in the various forms of the game like one day and 20-20 where their body and mind are much more battered and tired.

Well BS Bedi thinks that he is the only offie in the world. But just a shadow of Murali. From the day 1 this sardar ji is trying to degrade this bowler. Bedi 266 wkts and Mirli 800 wkts. see the difference. The records speaks all.

One must appreciate the way Murli has played. Critics all over and still he sailed on.

BSB was just an ordinary bowler. Did he won any single match for India? I hvae always watched batsmen hitting him all over ....

So Mr. Bedi. Better be what you are and donot try to under estimate anyone.

MURLI is the best offie. One does not need any proof for it.
