If two contemporary philosphers will get along well with each other then they wont be able to divulge with the others views. This would lead either to a shift in their philosphy or a major conflict leading to the end of there relation. Therefore, generally its found that the contemporary philosphers maintain a safe distance from each other!!

When two intellectuals discuss on something there will be difference of opinion. If it is not there it will only imply they are not applying their minds.

Philosophy is all about how one view life. For a Buddha the main philosophy is , "Desire is the root cause for all troubles" For a Ojo, " kill the desires by overdoing it". Some say ,' it is sin to do such things'. some other say 'do all sins and know the truth yourselves'. As such you need not accept any philosophy as it is. You choose the one or you frame your own in such matters.
