God is above al this cosmic energy or natural laws or nature -He has created them all in perfect laws .The sun is source of vast energy but is not god -sun follows laws set to it by God almighty . Everything is susbservient to God . Energy can be measured but God can not be -
"And He it is Who created the night and the day, and sun and the moon. They float each in an orbit And from among His signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him." (21:33, 41:37)

The most concise definition of God in Islam is given in the four verses of Surah Ikhlas which is Chapter 112 of the Quran:

\"Say: He is Allah, the One and Only. \"Allah, the Eternal, Absolute. \"He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him.\" [Al-Quran 112:1-4]

\"There is none like unto Him\". The moment you can imagine or compare God to anything, then it is not God.

Speaking about Himself, Allah says:
The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says \"BE!\" - and it is.
[Noble Quran 2:117]

Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, \"BE!\" and it is![Noble Quran 36:82]

I will go with misconceptions excellent answer with little addition.
In physics, energy is a scalar physical quantity that describes the amount of work that can be performed by a force(capacity of a physical system to do work). Energy is an attribute of objects and systems that is subject to a conservation law. Several different forms of energy exist to explain all known natural phenomena. These forms include (but are not limited to) kinetic, potential, thermal, gravitational, sound, light, elastic, and electromagnetic energy. The forms of energy are often named after a related force.

Any form of energy can be transformed into another form, but the total energy always remains the same.

In simple words it is the capacity or ability of doing work.

The God can not be defined as same, because energy is not the only thing exists in the Universe and Galaxy but there is matter, there is time, there is Wisdom.
Only energy have no meaning without matter ( Application ).

No.Energy is a force or capacity which has limit.God is superpower and everything is under his control including nature&human being. He has no begining nor end and is infinite.Hence energy can not be compared with God.

The perception of God as NIRAAKAAR and NIRGUN,does give some inkling of the fact that people mean Primordial Energy only.It is eternal, infinite, indesructible, immortal, omnipresent and above life and death. The \'soul\' or \'spirit\' of Geeta also resembles with this in many waysOne can extrapolate PARAMATMA from ATMA.

A highly generalised perception of the universe can be expressed in terms of \"Nama Roopa\" (names and forms). When a deeper generalisation is attempted one will end up with \"creative intelligent energy\". It is common knowledge that matter and energy are interchangeable (E=mc2) and matter can be visualised as compressed or packed energy.

Impersonal God as having no form or quality should not be construed as to have some special form unlike the universe and its contents. To make my point clear let us take for example a large sized business organisation, like for instance an MNC (Multi national company). It of course is recognised byh a name but one can not perceive its form. MNC is just an aggregate identity of all its buildings, plant & machinery, the board of directors and all other staff. Similarly God is jjust an identity or a collective name for the entire universe and all its contents.

Even in the case the of human being the body is just an instrument in the hands o ...more

God is nothing but light... solar energy is nothing but god...the nervous energy or sex energy possessed by any living being is nothing but god...brahmacharya means energy saving discipline or preserving sex energy... so sex energy is called as brahma... brahma means god... so energy and god are same...
poor people are called daridra narayan... poor people have got hunger energy... hunger is called as god as it digests anything in body... as poor people have got hunger, they are called gods...kumrao99@yahoo.co.in
