I wish that the sentense should have been completely meaningful if it was framed as : "White wash by Aussies in Ashes series agaist England" that means in a recently concluded 5 test Ashes Cricket Series Australia defeated England by 5-0 margin. Some times the similar situation will be explained as "Clean Sweep" by Aussies in Ashes Cricket series against England.
